Quick Alarm: Nightstand Clock app for iPhone and iPad

I like this app but the 1.7 update prevents you from changing the alarm time, which possible with version 1.6.1! (No problem with iOS 7)

the most loved feature of this app is the design, elegant interface. the alarm still works even app running in the background, which is good for saving battery. If you would like to use the app as cool clock. manual brightness adjustment would be great. Really luv the app interface. Great design!

Beautiful, simple clock face with a dimming function that actually dims the backlight, unlike those apps that simply fade the screen colors to black. Well worth the price.

Real good looking app though I cant seem to stop the alarm. I set it to Merry Christmas alarm and it wont stop playing when I have the app open. Anyone know how to fix this?

Really pretty app in its simplistic design. Wish there was a setting for not showing the red seconds hand.

iPhone is muted. Unfortunately in this case the app is useless for me.

instead of waking me the coming morning, it stays quiet, only the message center tells me, that there was an alarm. But a day later, then it does the wakeup ring. I testet it 3 times, its not that I just didnt hear the ring.

I have an old 1st generation iPod touch that I use as a desktop clock. It runs iOS 3.1.3, and cant be upgraded to a newer iOS. I picked up Quick Alarm because the app description says it works with iOS 3 and iPod touch. I was disappointed to find that despite this promising description, it crashes on launch on my iPod touch. I emailed the developer, noting that the app is described as wiring with iOS 3, who responded with the unhelpful suggestion to "try to update your iOS to latest version," which of course I cant. he also said that "this is bug, we can not resolve it now," so it looks like Quick Alarm doesnt work with iOS 3 after all.

The iPhone native app makes a sound even when the mute switch is on. This app doesnt.
